Meet Brand Kits: Consistent branding on every design

 

Creating a consistent brand image across all your designs, no matter who from your team creates them, has always been a challenge. Brand Kits are here to make this way easier.

Before Brand Kits, every design required manual selection of fonts, colors, logos and brand instructions. Since different team members often made different choices, designs would end up looking inconsistent.

With Brand Kits, organizations can save time when generating designs and ensure that all of the designs created by the team adhere to the brand guidelines.

 

How to create Brand Kits

1. Go to the Brand Kits  page in the dashboard and click Create brand kit.
2. Name your Brand Kit to make it easy to identify it later.
3. Add your logos, colors and fonts (Tip: Leave the background color empty if you don’t want to restrict your designs to have only one color for the background.)
4. Add design instructions like ‘’always place the logo top-center’’ or ‘’crop images into circles’’.
5. Click Create brand kit.

Brand Kits are shared across your organization, so everyone can use the same branding. You can create an unlimited number of Brand Kits.

 

How to use Brand Kits

You can apply a Brand Kit via the Design preferences modal in the Design tab of a document.

1. Create a document and add your text and images
2. Switch to Design via the buttons found on the top center of the page.
3. In the Design preferences modal, click Select brand kit and choose the kit you want to use.
4. You can also combine a Blueprint from our library with your Brand Kit. This means that your brand’s colors, fonts and logos will be applied to the Blueprint’s layout and aesthetic.
5. Finally, click Generate design to get a branded design with your content, in minutes.

Brand Kits + Blueprints = Magic

A Blueprint gives you a professionally designed layout. A Brand Kit applies your logos, fonts, colors and brand instructions.

Combine the two, and you get a design with your content, your branding and a polished layout, in just a few clicks.

 

FAQ

How many logos can I add to a Brand Kit?

You can upload as many logos as you want in image or SVG formats, but only one logo will be used inside each generated design. If you don't specify which logo to use in the brand kit’s instructions, we will automatically choose the most suitable one for each design.

How many colors and fonts can I choose?

You can choose up to 4 colors (primary, secondary, tertiary and background) and 3 fonts (Headings, subheadings and body text)

Who can create Brand Kits?

Only an Organization’s owners, admins and editors can create Brand Kits. Viewers can only view them.

Which subscription plans include Brand Kits?

All of our subscription plans include an unlimited number of Brand Kits.
